Wonder Woman 3: Gal Gadot teases a bigger comeback for Lynda Carter

Director Patty Jenkins recently announced at the DC FanDome event that Wonder Woman 3 is in the works, with Gal Gadot reprising her role. While the screenplay for the film is being kept under wraps, Gal recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about how pleased she is to work on it and how meaningful it is for her because it includes OG Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter.
Israeli actress/model revealed how Lynda Carter has been her mentor since she took on the part of Wonder Woman, saying, ‘Lynda Carter has been my mentor ever since I took on the role of Wonder Woman.’ Gal continued ‘First and foremost, Lynda has been a mentor to me since the day I was cast as Wonder Woman. She was constantly there for me, chatting to me, offering me advice, and so on. She’s a tremendous supporter of Patty and myself, and it’s wonderful that we were able to bring her to the last film and now to the third ‘, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Given how well-received Carter’s cameo in Wonder Woman: 1984 was, Gal Gadot indicated that the original Wonder Woman actress may have a larger part this time around, telling THR, ‘This time it’s even better. I’m a huge fan of her. She is someone I adore.’

A few days back, Gal also indicated that her children might appear in Wonder woman 3. In the 2020 film Wonder Woman 1984, Gadot’s daughters, Maya and Alma along with her husband Yaron Versano had made a cameo in the film. Husband Yaron Versano was appeared holding Maya on a ride Merry Go Round, and daughter Alma was appeared playing with the young child who is the son of director Patty Jenkins.
In terms of Wonder Woman 3, director Patty Jenkins has already stated that she is through exploring the character in the past after the first two films, therefore the film might be set in the present time.
