After Rakul Preet And Rana, Ravi Teja Appears Before ED In Money Laundering And Drugs Probe Case

Everyday there seems to be some new development in the Rakul Preet Singh money laundering case and drug trafficking case. There has been a long list of celebrities from the Tollywood film industry who have been asked to come for questioning. The names include Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Rakul Preet Singh, Nandu and Rana Daggubati. Now, actor Ravi Teja too, has been asked to appear before the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad to face questioning in the on-going money laundering and drugs probe. The probe has been on for nearing a week.

The entire industry and their kin are being questioned about their connections with a certain Mr. Calvin Mascarenhas. Apparently, actress Rakul Preet had gone into her questioning with a file, with complete accounts details, whereas some of the personalities lining up for questioning got their CA along too.

The case is a 4-year old one, which has been under the scanner for a long time. The gravity of the situation is such that the Special Investigating Team (SIT) is not leaving any stone unturned.

In actor Ravi Teja’s case,  his driver and even his brothers were summoned for interrogation, alongside the actor. It has been alleged that the actor’s brothers have been previously accused in cases related to drug trafficking. However, thus far none of the actors have any proof against them.

It has been alleged that none of the actors arriving at the ED office have stopped to answer questions of the myriad media persons gathered there.

However, the SIT is doing a thorough investigation. They have questioned 11 people thus far, it is being said that they have even collected hair and nail samples as a part of the investigation. It seems like Rakul has been having a tough time since last year when she was first summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput.
