cineriser . Oct 26, 2021 .

During the ongoing hearing of Aryan Khan drug case, NCB has claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani has tried to influence the witness. NCB put charges on SRK’s manager

Aryan Khan is facing legal issues since he was arrested in the drug case. He was put in jail on October 3 along with Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha and a few others. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday opposed the bail plea filed by actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. He is allegedly put under arrest as not just a consumer of drugs, but also involved in illicit drug trafficking.

NCB stated that Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani appears to have influenced the Panch-Witness and as soon as this fact came to light, the NCB immediately moved the Special NDPS Court on Monday that is on October 25. The Bombay High Court is hearing the bail pleas of Aryan Khan and two other accused, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. They all have been sent to judicial custody till October 30 by the Special NDPS Court. Former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi, along with senior advocates like Amit Desai and Satish Maneshinde, are appearing for Aryan Khan.

It was also said that Pooja Dadlani was tampering with the evidence and witnesses in the case in an attempt to derail the investigation. On the other hand, Aryan Khan’s advocates submitted to the HC an additional note, stating that he has nothing to do with the allegations and counter-allegation that are being circulated between the NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede and political personalities.

Contending that the bail plea is devoid of merit and must be dismissed, the NCB said that investigations have revealed Aryan Khan’s international links which show that he is not a mere consumer as claimed by him. The NCB on Tuesday filed its affidavit in response to the bail plea filed by Aryan Khan in the HC. A single bench of Justice N W Sambre is likely to take the plea for hearing later in the day. NCB in its affidavit said attempts are being made to tamper with the ongoing investigation with an intention to derail the probe into the case.
