In a recent interview, Sharvari Wagh, who recently made her Bollywood breakthrough with Bunty Aur Babli 2, delivered an open confession. With her performance in the film, the actress grabbed the audience. In a short period of time, she has amassed a sizable fan base.
She admitted to once barging into a Diwali celebration held by Sonam Kapoor. “I gatecrashed Sonam Kapoor’s Diwali party. I tagged along with a few pals that were going, but I plainly hooked along very quickly because they had a list. And because no one knew who I was at the time, I was able to effortlessly crash it,” she told the interviewer.
When asked if he had gatecrashed an event, Sharvari’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi stated he has gone to small parties without an invite and partied. “Sonam Kapoor, utni himmat nahi hui hai,” he continued, “I haven’t had the nerve to gatecrash a celebration as huge as Sonam Kapoor’s.”
Sharvari has previously appeared in an army based digital show but Bunty Aur Babli 2 is her first time on the big screen. She had previously described the project as a “dream” and said that she was “very privileged” in a statement. You don’t often receive projects where you have to play multiple parts. I was committed to give each of them a believable performance since the crowd needs to be engaged in the deception in order to really enjoy the con. “I had a blast dressing up as a total chameleon and just throwing my best foot ahead,” she remarked.
Siddhant and Sharvari reprise their roles as ‘Bunty’ and ‘Babli’ in Bunty Aur Babli 2. The original Bunty and Babli, played by Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, are forced to come out of retirement as a result of this. The result is a game in which one partner tries to outwit the other.
