1. Chicken Farcha
Ingredients:
Boneless chicken
Garlic
Ginger
Turmeric powder
Chilli powder
Cumin powder
Salt
Lemon juice
Sugar
Coriander
Parsley
Egg
Bread crumbs
Refined oil
Method:
In a mixing bowl, marinate boneless chicken with garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and cumin powder. Add salt to taste, lemon juice, sugar, chopped coriander, chopped parsley, and refined oil. Dip the chicken pieces in egg batter and coat in bread crumbs. Lightly fry in hot oil, and enjoy!
2. Garlic Butter Grilled Fish
Ingredients:
Boneless bhetki fish fillets
Garlic
Chilli flakes
Salt
Pepper
Lemon zest
Lemon juice
Coriander powder
Butter
Refined oil
Method:
To make this, first marinate bhetki fish fillets with garlic paste, pepper, chilli flakes, salt, lemon zest, lemon juice, and coriander powder. Heat some refined oil and butter in a grilling pan. Add crushed garlic and fry the marinated pieces of fish in it! Serve this with a tangy coriander-lemon sauce, and relish while hot!
3. Poddo Luchi
Ingredients:
Ghee
Almonds
Pistachios
Raisins
Khoya kheer
Flour
Oil
Sugar syrup
Method:
Heat some ghee in a frying pan and add chopped almonds, pistachios, raisins, and grated khoya kheer. Mix well and add sugar and cardamom seeds. Remove from heat and keep aside. Put some of this stuffing on a piece of rolled out luchi dough, and layer with another sheet of luchi dough. Deep fry in hot oil and soak with sugar syrup. Yum!
