Kaafir actress Dia Mirza got married to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi on Monday evening. Unlike other Bollywood actresses who wore heavy lehenga and lots of jewellery, Dia was seen taking her wedding vows in a beautiful red and golden Banarasi saree by Raw Mango which she paired with a red veil that had a golden border. While an Indian bride is always expected to don a heavily embroidered lehenga for her wedding ceremony, Dia preferred to break the stereotype and opt for something subtle instead.

Along with the wedding pictures, Dia added a heartwarming note, which says, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us ❤️🙏🏻 #ThankYouPreeta #SunsetKeDiVaNe”

She adorned her red Benarasi saree with minimal jewellery like a Kundan and pearl choker by Tyaani Jewellery. Her simple hair and makeup were done by Shraddha Mishra. The whole look was designed and styled by Theia Tekchandaney who has previously styled the Thappad actress on many occasions. Dia completed the look with an adorable smile. Vaibhav Rekhi looked equally charming in all-white attire.
