Did You Know Emraan Hashmi Rejected A Romantic Comedy Opposite Alia Bhatt?

Emraan Hashmi, since the beginning of his career, has established that he has no problem romancing or doing bold scenes if it is the need of the script. Alia Bhatt also started her career with a college rom-com Student of the Year.  But it has been reported that Emraan Hashmi had rejected a romantic comedy opposite Alia Bhatt. It is said that he liked the script a lot but refused to romance Alia.

The reason behind this rejection is that, Emraan Hashmi regards Alia Bhatt’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, as his mentor and calls him Mamu(Uncle). So, Alia and Emraan share a relationship of brother and sister. That is why Emraan refused to romance his distant sister, Alia.

Emraan will be seen next in a mystery thriller named Chehre. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Krystal D’Souza, and Rhea Chakraborty. Another upcoming movie of Hashmi is Mumbai Saga with an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Kajal Aggarwal, and many more talented actors.

Alia also has many high budget films in her kitty like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Takht, and Brahmastra. She will also venture into South Indian films with the S.S. Rajamouli directed the movie, RRR.
