83, directed by Kabir Khan, is now conquering movie halls, and the film, which was released on December 24th, has received acclaim from both audiences and reviewers. While all of the characters in the film have done an outstanding job, it was recently disclosed that Vicky Kaushal was originally set to play Mohinder Amarnath in the movie.

The actor from ‘Raazi’ auditioned for the part, and filmmaker Kabir Khan was really interested in portraying it.
The audition took place before ‘Raazi’ was released and proved to be a smash, after which he chose to drop out of the movie because he did not want to portray the film’s secondary protagonist. According to a source, Kabir Khan was enthusiastic for Vicky to play Mohinder Amarnath.

Later on, Saqib Salem was picked for the part of Mohinder Amarnath. Vicky Kaushal has recently been in the news for both his professional and personal life.
