Drake vowed by Adele come back single Easy On Me

Singer-songwriter Adele is back. After a Six-year hiatus, the artist has released her latest song ‘Easy on Me’, vastly exciting her best friend Drake. The 34-year-old rapper on October 14 shared Adele’s photo on his Instagram story. Easy on Me is 33-years-old Adele’s first new single in six years.

Drake was thrilled to bits that his best friend had ‘dropped a single’ and exclaimed ‘WOIIIIIIII’ on her photo on the Insta story. Incidentally, Adele in her recent Instagram live had dropped broad hints about her upcoming single ‘Easy on Me’.

That the two Grammy winners form a mutual admiration club is given. Adele had also gone on to describe Certified Lover Boy by the rapper as her thus far favourite album for 2021. The British artist had in pre-Covid19 times also shared space at Canadian rapper’s birthday bash in Los Angeles.

Industry watchers aver that the friendship between the two is in the making since 2015. This started when Adele openly expressed her appreciation for Drake’s hit number ‘Hotline Bling’. Wanting to do an official remix, the singer had even ordered the ‘red coat’ that featured in Drake’s video.

Adele’s admiration prompted the certified lover boy response from Drake who even offered to double up to her house and do laundry for the singer. The duo has been hitting a high on their friendship meter after Adele shifted base to Los Angeles from London with Simon Konecki, her then-husband and their son Angelo.

This latest song from her fourth studio album 30 comes from the stables of an artist who has over 120 million record sales. Easy With Me, many believe is a follow-up to her 25 that has a special place in the hearts of her fans, which her separation from a charity executive Simon Konecki, inspired.
