Firoz Nadiadwala’s Wife Shabana Saeed Taken For Medical Examination Post Arrest By NCB

On Sunday, November 8, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the house of prominent Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala. The officials on Monday said that the producer’s wife Shabana Saeed was arrested after illegal drug marijuana was allegedly obtained from their residence. The producer wasn’t at the house when the raid took place and hence in connection with his wife’s arrest a summon was generated for Firoz. As reported by ANI, Shabana also underwent a medical check-up at the government hospital, before she was produced in a designated court.

Reportedly, when the NCB raided Firoz’s apartment, the agency seized drugs worth Rs. 3.59 lakh from his house, other locations and from the four drug peddlers who were taken under custody. In line with the Bollywood drug nexus, the NCB has so far recovered 717.1 gm ganja, 74.1 gm charas and 95.1 gm MD, besides this, another 10 gm of ganja from a peddler namely Wahid A Kadir Shaikh, alias Sultan.

Post recording Shabana Saeed’s statement, the producer’s wife was placed under arrest. She was produced before a court yesterday after her medical tests. The investigation is yet going on and the official statements about the result are yet awaited. The entire operation was conducted in line with the ongoing investigation of Sushant Singh’s death case. The NCB has been fiercely unravelling the Bollywood drug connection and drug mafia for the past three months.

Previously, Deepika Padukone’s ex-manager was also summoned by the agency after their drug chats were leaked. In the chat, Deepika Padukone was asking her manager if she has ‘hash’. Post this, the actor was summoned for interrogation. Along with her, Sushant Singh’s co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were also interrogated. A day after NCB raided Firoz’s premise, even actor Arjun Rampal’s house was checked.
