When Kareena Kapoor went to Simi Garewal’s popular chat show, Kareena spoke about her life at Harvard. She reminisced about that time to be a memorable period in her life where she had fun.

While the actress was ecstatic with her admission, her mother Babita and sister Karishma didn’t want her to go to Harvard University. Kareena didn’t listen to her mother and sister and filled out forms for Harvard to study Microcomputers and Information technology.

Simi said she felt that Kareena going to Harvard was a more significant achievement for her family than winning the Oscars. Kareena replied that it was the most significant thing ever.

All her aunts and uncles were proud of her, and soon the news spread like wildfire that the Kapoor girl with no brains had gone to Harvard. They all celebrated with her.

However, after actually landing in Harvard, things didn’t turn out the way she wanted. Kareena recalls that it was no party; she would wake up early in the morning to complete her assignments.

After experiencing the harsh reality, Kareena changed her mind and decided to pursue acting. After working alongside Abhishek Bachchan in Refugee, Kareena also starred in Omkara, Jab We Met, Heroine, 3 Idiots, Talaash, etc.
