Priyanka Chopra is one of the most favourite movie stars of Indians who has now also become a well-known celebrity all around the world. She recently launched her book, Unfinished, which is her first memoir. While promoting her book, the actress gave an interview, in which she shared some insights into the difficulties that she faced in her career.

After being crowned as Miss World in 2000, Priyanka Chopra made her Bollywood debut in 2003, with the Sunny Deol starrer film, The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy. After a long and successful career in Bollywood, where she did many versatile roles and won multiple accolades, she proceeded to work in Hollywood. She first starred in the English series Quantico and then in the film, Baywatch.
Priyanka has penned down her journey in the book, Unfinished. She launched the book with Penguin Random House. In this memoir, Priyanka Chopra has opened up about a lot of things, also sharing some facts that no one knows about. In a recent interview about the book, she shared that she had never opened up about those things previously because she used to feel insecure in talking about them. She said that she feared that talking about it might affect her future in the industry.

Priyanka shared that she once had had an argument with a director, following which, she had to drop that film. Talking about this incident in the interview, she said, “Had I talked about this issue at the time this happened, I would not have reached where I am today. That is what women are taught in Bollywood, to just silently bear everything and not raise their voice or complaint.”
Following up on that story, Priyanka Chopra also said, “Now that I am also a writer, I wrote this book during the lockdown and felt that I should share these experiences that I have had in the industry.”
