Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up On Dostana 2 Being Derailed Post Kartik Aaryan’s Exit; Says ‘It’s Heartbreaking’

The audience is keen to know what is going on in the lives of the Bollywood actors. They keep a tab on their social media and try to get the most knowledge about the personal life of the B-town actors. When Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were locked for Dostana 2, fans were all excited to see them together on the screens. The two stars were rumoured to be dating back then and even before the completion of the film, Kartik Aaryan was ousted from the project and since then, there has been no update about Dostana 2.

The film however got derailed due to differences that cropped up at the nascent stage of the project that ended up derailing the film. In a recent chat with a leading daily Janhvi opened up about films like Dostana 2 and Takht being derailed that said that it’s heartbreaking. The actress said that she has a habit of dreaming, fantasizing, and visualising things hence, she often ends up getting disappointed when things don’t go as per her expectations.

Janhvi Kapoor added that she was expecting to get signed on for a film that she was excited to do but she thinks because of dates it couldn’t happen or at least she was told it was dated. Janhvi had finished shooting the film, she had worn all her costumes, she had done all the comedy scenes, but she had a blast. For the actress, it was like a heartbreak but it’s a huge part of the job. She feels like, until she has signed the film and she is on the film set, even then Dostana to she was on the film set also. Until the film is nearing release, she doesn’t think one should believe that it has happened.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry. The film is directed by Sidharth Sengupta, and is bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah and Aanand L Rai. The film also features Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, Jaswant Singh Dalal and Sushant Singh in key roles.
