In the autobiography, the actor has also mentioned his love interest Parveen Babi which had been quite a controversial topic at that time. The actor has been married thrice and was involved in an affair with Parveen Babi towards the end of his first marriage. He was first married to Protima Bedi until 1974, was then followed by Nikki Bedi and Parveen Dusanj.

According to him, Parveen Babi had been a mental patient since she was a child. Kiran Bedi has also written that when he separated from Parveen Babi and returned to India, the Indian media put all the blame on him without knowing the entire story.
