Kundali Bhagya’s Karan Luthra (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Rishabh Luthra (Manit Joura) are one of the most loving brothers in all the Zee shows. They’re rich, they’re classy, they love their families and share a great bond with each other as well. They initially liked the same girl, Preeta (Shraddha Arya) but after Rishabh married Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) and Preeta got married to Karan, Rishabh has stayed away from his feelings and now it seems that he just wants his brother’s happiness. We have seen how these two move heaven and earth for each other and their two strikingly different personalities come together to form a beautiful bond. Their camaraderie often reminds us of the  Chennai Super Kings’ stars, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina. Here’s why:

Their personalities

Rishabh is definitely cool and collected, like MSD. He is great at seeing things from a bird-eye view and finding a solution. He weighs his options and thinks carefully. He is also very pure-hearted and is loved by everyone, just like captain cool, Dhoni. Rishabh is the one who manages the Luthra family business and he does it really well, just like Dhoni when he was the captain of the team! Suresh Raina is a star player and he’s extremely talented. He hits big shots and is someone who the team relies on. Raina is a power hitter and we feel like Karan is very similar to him because he’s also a little impulsive side and is known to be very talented as well!

Their bonds

It is common knowledge that Suresh Raina and Dhoni have a great bond and they are the beacons of the CSK squad. Rishabh and Karan are also the coolest members of the Luthra house. They also worry for the family and work for the family the way Dhoni-Raina-manage the squad! Dhoni is called ‘Thala’ (leader) and Raina is called ‘Chinna Thala’ (junior leader) by CSK fans in the country. Rishabh and Karan are very similar. Raina and Karan are fire and Dhoni and Rishabh are ice!

When Dhoni decided to retire from international cricket, on 15th August last year, Raina chose to join his friend and captain and also announced his retirement. Last year due to personal reasons Raina could not join the CSK team but he is back and the team seems to be doing well. He was reunited with Dhoni after a whole year and the two shared a long hug when they met! We know how much Karan struggled to stop Rishabh’s marriage with Sherlyn when he found that she was not a good person. We also know how many times Rishabh has knocked sense into Karan’s head when he has done something wrong. From the beginning, these two have had each others’ backs, just like Dhoni-Raina who have been playing together since the early days of the former’s captaincy!
