Recently Vijay communicated how he has been absent from the camera for more than two years by sharing a cheerful selfie of himself. The star went on to say that the wait is finally over. We haven’t seen him in film in two years, he remarked.

The clip starts with the tense atmosphere of a boxing ring. As Liger Aka Vijay Deverakonda enters with his toned body and brawn, the build-up becomes more furious and intense. In the video, Vijay is seen in his most raw form, having risen from the slums of Mumbai to a position where he is poised to conquer the globe. As evidenced, he rose to popularity from his humble beginnings as a tea shop owner in India.

Liger is a forthcoming romantic sports action movie helmed by Puri Jagannadh and shot concurrently in Hindi and Telugu. The film will be rendered in Kannada and Malayalam as well. Liger also stars Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, and Makarand Deshpande, in addition to Vijay and Ananya. The pan-Indian movie will be released on August 25 after a long wait owing to the continuing pandemic.
