In the next episode of Maari, Maari gets suspcious when Tara and Jasmine look at her and smile. Tara instructs the goons to keep Murugan in captivity and stages an act when Surya informs her that Murugan is missing.
In the previous episode of Maari, Jasmine is delighted when Tara tells her plan to get her and Surya married. Tara assures Jasmine and asks her to dress for the wedding. Back in the hall, Maari agrees with Hasini when she shares her fear that Tara is up to some mischief to stop the wedding. Maari prays that Murugan should arrive dressed as a groom at the earliest so that Tara’s plan is thwarted. Accordingly, Maari tells Hasini to go and bring Subramaniam and his parents to the hall in order to expose Tara’s deceit. Meanwhile, Surya looks for Maari in the hall and happens to witness a wedding at a nearby temple. He immediately remembers his and Maari’s marriage. At the warehouse, Subramaniam regains consciousness and tries to wake his parents. As time passes, Maari fears the worst and prays to the deity. Maari too is pleased to see the marriage at the temple and is delighted when Surya tells her that he has realised the importance of marriage and ‘thaali’. Tears well up in Maari’s eyes to hear Surya’s words. Maari is happy when Surya tells of going to Switzerland once Jasmine’s wedding is over. Maari hides her fear and lies to Surya when he questions her about the reason for her gloominess. Subramaniam recognizes Hasini when she visits them in the warehouse. Hasini tells Subramaniam to reveal the truth to Suya about Tara’s deceit or face the consequence. Fearing their life, Subramaniam and his parents agree to help her. Overjoyed by the thought of marrying Jasmine. Murugan is happy, but Tara enters the room and asks him to leave if he cares for his life.
