Meet 07 July 2023 Written Update: Masoom compels Sumeet to marry

In the previous episode of Meet, Sumeet calls off her wedding with Raunak after Shlok exposes him. Shagun arrives in front of Sumeet. She threatens to break Vani’s wedding if Sumeet rejects Raunak. However, Sumeet’s reply scares Shagun.

In the latest episode of Meet, Shagun calms down Abhay, who is enraged with Raunak. Abhay accuses Raunak of mistreating Sumeet and suggests breaking the alliance with her. Shagun scolds Raunak and promises Abhay that she will prevent such incidents in the future. She asks Abhay to apologise to Sumeet on Raunak’s behalf. As Abhay leaves, Shagun consoles Raunak and asks him to promise not to engage in any misconduct before marriage. Raunak, receiving a call from Bitti, leaves Shagun alone. Feeling agitated, Shagun realises she must keep an eye on Raunak to prevent any mistakes that could ruin her plans. Later, Bitti and Raunak check into a hotel, while a spy informs Shagun that Raunak is with an unknown girl heading towards a hotel room. Meanwhile, Sumeet arrives at the hotel, unaware of the unfolding situation. Shlok, hiding, praises Bitti’s clever involvement in the plan. As Sumeet reaches the designated room, Shlok grabs her wrist and pulls her inside, shocking her. Sumeet accuses Shlok of attempting to molest her, while he tries to explain that he wants to show her evidence. Sumeet rejects his explanation and struggles to escape, loudly protesting against him. Meanwhile, Raunak and Bitti open the same room, finding it empty, and wonder if Shlok and Sumeet have arrived. Behind a folding screen, Shlok and Sumeet hide, with Shlok intending to show Sumeet how she is ruining her own life. On the other hand, Bitti questions Raunak about his hatred towards his wife, leading him to confess that he intends to mistreat her and destroy her life due to his wounded ego. As Raunak forcefully approaches Bitti, intending to make love, Shlok intervenes and strikes him. Sumeet reveals herself and admonishes Raunak for disrespecting women, expressing her intense dislike for him. Raunak blames Shlok for plotting their separation by involving Bitti. In a fit of anger, Sumeet slaps Raunak and ends their alliance. Back home, Sumeet attempts to call Raj, but Shagun reveals herself as the mother of Abhay and Raunak, asserting her control over them. Memories from Sumeet’s childhood resurface as she recalls Shagun’s presence. Shagun threatens Sumeet, warning her about the repercussions on Abhay and Vani’s marriage if she breaks her alliance with Raunak. Sumeet, asserting her identity as Meet’s daughter, retaliates, stating that Vani would break the marriage upon learning of Shagun’s intentions, leaving Abhay to suffer the pain of losing Vani. Shagun is unable to respond, and as she tries to slap Sumeet, a trident of Goddess Durga falls between them, creating a barrier.
