Meet 12 July 2023 Written Update: Shlok brings Sumeet home

In the previous episode of Meet, Shlok and his family get shocked when Sumeet introduces herself as Shlok’s wife. Sumeet tries to convince Shlok that she is his wife, but he refuses to believe her. Later, Poonam ousts Sumeet.

In the latest episode of Meet, Sumeet gets caught in the rain, feeling sorry for herself and remembering her marriage to Shlok. Shlok shattered inside, puts on a facade of indifference when he steps outside. Sumeet gazes at Shlok hopefully while Punam urges him to come inside to avoid the rain. As Shlok turns away, Sumeet whispers that she isn’t lying about their marriage. Despite shivering from the cold, Sumeet refuses to leave until Shlok accepts her as his wife. Inside the house, Punam decides to inform Shagun about Sumeet claiming to be married to Shlok, causing chaos in front of their house despite Sumeet being married to Raunaq. The family agrees and returns to their rooms, except for Shlok, who looks back at Sumeet. Determined not to give in to her stubborn wish, Shlok angrily rushes out of the house upon discovering goons circling Sumeet. Meanwhile, Raj is shocked to find Sumeet’s room empty and begins searching the entire house. In the hall, Raj accuses Massom of not accepting Sumeet due to her not belonging to the Ahlawat bloodline. Massom becomes defensive, claiming that Sumeet has also never accepted her and causes trouble. In a fit of anger, Raj claims that if it were Vani, Massom would never pressure her. However, Massom declares her innocence. Raj announces his decision to change rituals to prevent Sumeet from staying at Shagun’s house, regardless of Massom’s opinion. Upon arriving at Shagun’s house, they halt as Shagun welcomes Vani with an Aarti. Shagun notices Raj’s reflection and orders a servant to start the fan behind Vani. Vani’s dupatta gets tangled in the fan, choking her. Shagun acts swiftly, saving Vani and melting Massom’s heart. Raj and Massom rush inside, asking if Sumeet is there, but Vani informs them she isn’t. Meanwhile, Raunaq confronts Shagun for allowing Sumeet to marry Shlok, and in anger, he sets a bed on fire. Vani notices, but Shagun controls the situation, blaming it on the wind. Later, Shlok rescues Sumeet from the goons, finding her hiding with a knife. He helps her up, and she gasps in pain. Meanwhile, Raunaq’s anger continues to target Shagun, who justifies her actions as a response to Raunaq’s carelessness. Shlok brings Sumeet home, and as she enters, her dupatta gets caught on Shlok’s shirt. The blood from the injury acts as aalta, leaving her footprint on the floor as she wanders through the hall.
