NCB Summons Actor Arjun Rampal Again In Connection With The Drug Probe

Over the last few months, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is investigating the ‘Bollywood Drugs Case’ which emerged after investigations into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In connection with the drug racket, many Bollywood celebrities have been named and questioned so far. And the recent reports state that actor Arjun Rampal is under the radar once again. The actor has been summoned to the NCB office tomorrow (December 16) for further questioning in the case.

A source close to NCB revealed the development and said that the NCB wishes to question the actor again in the light of some fresh evidence. Considering which, the actor may join the probe again on December 16. For those unaware, Arjun and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades were earlier questioned by the NCB on November 13. And the interrogation went on for seven long hours. The orders for which came after NCB conducted a search at Arjun’s house on November 10 and the actor’s driver was also arrested and questioned in a link-up with the drug probe.

Gabriella’s brother Agisialos Demetriades was found guilty in a link-up with several drug cases. Agisilaos was in touch with many Bollywood celebrities and was arrested by the NCB officers as they seized a small quantity of Hashish and Alprazolam tablets, both banned narcotic drugs, from him. A month after his arrest, Arjun and Gabriella were summoned by the agency.

Officials claimed that Agisilaos was in constant touch with several drug peddlers who allegedly supplied drugs to Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and other celebs arrested for their alleged involvement in the drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Agisilaos was dealing in a variety of drugs and the NCB officials discovered it while raiding his Khar residence.

Also, electronic evidence showed that he was in touch with Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda, who are linked with Rhea and Showik Chakraborty. NCB, which has been investigating the drug angle into late actor Rajput’s death, has till now arrested 28 people, including Bollywood celebrities like comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
