If this lockdown is getting to you and all, then we have just the kind of romantic movie for you to escape reality. Olave Jeevana Lekkachara is not just a simple love story but that of an interesting one wherein we see something as beautiful as love find its way with two people who are meant to be. The story revolves around Balu who is a lecturer and a self-made revolutionary infusing but negative thoughts about love and marriage. However, things turn around for him when he meets Rukmini.
The movie is all about the emotion of love and the complexities that it comes with only to realise that nothing that comes easy is worth having. In this movie, we see two people of contrasting personalities run into each other only to fall in love. What makes this film even more interesting is the use of humour and sarcasm that gives these characters just the kind of personality they need. It also balances out the mood of the film while making light moments out of the most serious situations.
As for music, composed by Mano Murthy, the songs are just enough to get you into a romantic mood. Ba Baare Shaakuntale sung by Vijay Prakash and Nanna Preethiya Geleya sung by Rajesh Krishnan and Shreya Goshal are the top two songs that must be heard.
