Rani Rashmoni 20 August 2021 Written Update: Gadadhar is ready to suffer for Jagadamba’s karma

In the previous episode of the Zee Bangla show Rani Rashmoni, Kumudini steals fruits for some needy children, but Bishtucharan catches her. The temple priests condone her behaviour and Annada makes her put the fruits back in the basket. Gadadhar sees this and tells Bishtucharan to allow her to take whatever she wants. However, Dwarika shows his displeasure and hurts Kumudini’s feelings. Nevertheless, Kumudini prays to Maa Kali for his mother Jagadamba’s recovery and the simplicity of her prayer touches Gadadhar. Meanwhile, the doctor says there is no hope for Jagadamba and they should inform the family. When Mathur sees Gadadhar he breaks down and begs him to cure Jagadamba.

In the current episode of Rani Rashmoni, Gadadhai prays to Maa Kali for Jagadamba’s recovery. He tells her that Mathur will not be able to lose his wife a second time. He says she had called him a son when he had come here and asks her how he, being a son, can see bear to see his mother in so much pain. He tells her give me all my mother’s illness and make her well.

He tells Maa Kali that she had asked him not to use his `tantra’ knowledge to do anything supernatural and he had kept his word. But this one time he wants her to give him the power so that he can take away Jagadamba’s illness from her.

As he prays a storm begins to rage outside and suddenly the door of the Kali temple closes and a fire breaks out at the temple. Everyone tries to put out the fire and fetches pails of water.

Dwarika who comes there believes this is no ordinary puja and informs Mathur about it. Mathur says he knows that Gadadhar must be praying to Maa Kali for Jagadamba’s life. When Dwarika says no one has the courage to open the door and fears for Gadadhar’s life, Mathur tells him to wait. He tells Dwarika that Maa Bhavatarini will surely hear Gadadhar’s prayers.

Maa Kali appears before him and says she cannot take away Jagadamba’s illness as it is a result of her `karma’ and everyone has to suffer for their deeds. Gadadhar then asks the Goddess, to allow him to suffer for Jagadamba’s karma and only asks Maa Kali to give him the strength to bear the pain.
