Rani Rashmoni: 4 times Gadadhar risked his life but didn’t lose his faith in God!

Zee Bangla’s popular serial Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni stars Ditipriya Roy as Rani Rashmoni, Gourab Chatterjee as Mathuramohan Biswas, and Sourav Saha as Gadadhar Chattopadhyay in the lead roles. Gadadhar has been a true devotee of Goddess Kali since the beginning and has had immense faith in her even during hard times. He has always encouraged people to seek the Goddess’ help when in need and has also shown the same faith himself. Many a time, Gadadhar has shown us that he values his faith in God much more than his own life. Here are some moments when he risked his own life and trusted the superpower to save him.

When Gadadhar submerged himself in water

When Gadadhar went to Nabadwip, his devotion towards Lord Krishna increased with each day. One day while singing Kirtan with other devotees, he sees Lord Krishna himself in the crowd. He follows Lord Krishna without a moment of hesitation and he is led to the ghats. As Lord Krishna enters the water and submerges himself, Gadadhar too follows him underwater without caring for his own life. Due to his immense faith, he is saved by God himself and is safely returned to the banks of the river. Isn’t it miraculous?

When Gadadhar tried to kill himself

In an episode, Shibananda gets hurt and becomes unconscious. Gadadhar prays to Goddess Kali to bring Shibananda back to life but she does not respond to his prayers. He becomes angry and says that she is not helping Shibananda because he tried to hurt Gadadhar but if she does not heal him, Gadadhar will take his own life. Gadadhar had a lot of faith in Goddess Kali and knew that she was going to save him, and indeed his prediction did come true.

When Gadadhar refused to leave Nabadwip despite many dangers

When Gadadhar and Rani Maa visited Nabadwip, Jodu Gosai was against them visiting the place and his followers tried their best to scare them so that they return to Dakshineswar. In an episode, Jodu Gosai warns Gadadhar and Rani Maa that they might be in trouble if they don’t stop preaching about Goddess Kali and don’t leave Nabadwip Dham. Hriday Thakur gets scared and insists that Gadadhar returns to Dakshineswar as his life is in danger but the latter refuses to do so and says that Goddess Kali will protect him.

When Gadadhar wanted to participate in Kirtan

Jodu Gosai had warned Gadadhar and Rani Maa that they should not visit his Math by any chance or his followers might try to harm them. Everyone knew that pace was off-limits but Gadadhar’s faith in God gave him the courage to visit the Math so that he could partake in the Kirtan that was taking place there. Although this move was dangerous for his life, he refused to care about it and trusted Lord Krishna to save him.
