The actor recently announced his wedding plans with Devlina. The couple is currently gearing up for their upcoming wedding and engagement which will take place in December.

Wedding and engagement dates

The Rani Rashmoni actor will reportedly tie the knot with Bengali actress and girlfriend Devlina Kumar on December 9. They plan on hosting their wedding reception and engagement soon after, on December 15. The couple also reportedly revealed that they had finalised a date for their wedding last year itself. But due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdowns, they had to postpone their plans. They chose the month of December for their special day as they knew it had to take place during the winter season.

No big fat Indian wedding for Gourab and Devlina?

Although Gourab and Devlina mentioned that they will have all the usual events that are followed during a wedding, they plan on conducting them on a smaller scale. It will be a smaller affair than what they had initially planned on. However, Devlina did add that her wish to have a big fat Indian wedding will be happening later in March next year. While Gourab revealed how Devlina plans on making him dance on the sangeet day, Devlina said that their friends from the industry will be present for the wedding, which will be a highlight of the event.

Wedding outfits and honeymoon plans

As per a recent report, Devlina Kumar decided on her wedding outfit only a few days back. She added that she has asked her friend Abhishek Roy to make something for her, as she is not keen on wearing expensive or designer attires. Gourab Chatterjee also admitted that it was Devlina Kumar who took up the responsibility of planning everything as he ends up forgetting most things. When asked about their honeymoon plans, Gourab Chatterjee and Devlina Kumar reportedly said that they will be travelling to Darjeeling for a quick honeymoon trip post the wedding. Although the idea of their wedding has not fully sunk in their minds yet, the couple is excited for their future together!
