There was a time when audiences used to be completely involved in horror TV shows. However, with passing time, the genre has gone a bit under the radar when it comes to the small screen. The viewers are more into the ‘relevance and realism’ of the stories. Due to this, the horror genre seemed to be literally dying on television. However, Zee Marathi’s Ratris Khel Chale has made the audience relive the spookiness and thrills of a horror story. Unlike its contemporaries, Ratris Khel Chale 3 not only scares you, but also briefs you with the stories of interesting characters.
Right from its first season, the show has kept the viewers hooked to their screens. The show has evolved more as a character study rather than being a typical horror serial. And now with an exciting season 3, Ratris Khel Chale has got the viewers highly intrigued. In the first two episodes that have aired, the theme of ‘Karma’ has been highlighted with utter importance.
Saying so, here’s taking a look at how life has turned topsy-turvy for the prosperous Naik family in this threequel.
Time can definitely turn the tables for everyone. Similarly, in the case of the Naik family, life has turned no less than a living hell. After Anna Naik’s death, his karmas have hit hard on his innocent family members. Firstly, Anna’s kind-hearted wife Indu Naik whom the villagers respectfully called ‘Naik Bai’ now works as a maid to earn her daily bread.
Some of the greedy men from the village are trying to dupe her by making her sell the wada. The so-called ‘fort’ of Anna Naik has now become just like the ruins of a manor. After working throughout the day in other households, Indu just hopes that everything will get back on track.
Talking about Anna’s elder sons Madhav and Datta, it seems that karma has taken a heavy toll on them. The elder one Madhav roams all around the village as a homeless man, blabbering about his Marathi vocabulary. For those unaware, he led a happy life in Mumbai along with his wife Neelima. However, it seems that after Neelima’s arrest he has lost his sanity.
On the other hand, Datta being the responsible family man works as a labourer on the farms. There was a time when he looked after the widespread properties and land of the Naik clan. But Anna Naik’s antics have made them all pay a heavy price.
As seen in the recent episode, Indu talks about his younger son Abhiram and then we get a glimpse of his life story. It seems that Abhiram is far away from the village and is the only hope the Naik family can have. In the first season, Abhi was preparing to join the police force. So, it is possible that we might see him as an officer in the threequel. And his return might change everything for the Naik clan.
Well, it remains to be seen how things turn up in the threequel.
