COVID-19 vaccinations have now opened up for people of almost all ages in India. Several celebrities have taken to various platforms to encourage Indians to get their vaccinations done as soon as possible. Recently, famous Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon encouraged the citizens of India to get vaccinated while continuing to follow COVID-19 measure to ensure the highest possible safety.

Not too long ago, popular Indian actress Raveena Tandon spoke about how getting vaccinated is now a ray of hope during the miserable COVID-19 situation that India is facing. She also stated that the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine for people aged 18 and above has come as a major relief to many. However, Raveena expressed how she felt irked by the attitude of people who were getting vaccinated.

She stated that people recovering from the infection or even the ones getting the vaccine are assuming that they are free to do anything in any manner. Raveena stated that they are not ‘supermen’ and could suffer from a relapse of the virus if proper care and safety is not maintained. She added that getting vaccinated is crucial as it will protect a person. Although it does not guarantee 100% efficacy, it surely protects people to a large extent.

Raveena Tandon also mentioned how the carelessness of people about this virus has come with a heavy cost to many. She recalled having spotted young people in cars without a mask on their faces, making it rather risky. India has been undergoing a terrible time with the second wave of COVID-19 hitting the nation. Countless new cases and fatalities have arisen with citizens struggling to save their family members and other loved ones from the deadly coronavirus. With the Indian government rolling out the COVID-19 vaccination plans for people aged 18 and above, various celebrities have sincerely urged and requested every citizen to register for it and receive it as early as possible.
