Salman Khan Granted Directorial Rights To Aanand L Rai For His Upcoming Akshay Kumar-Sara Ali Khan-Dhanush Starrer – Here’s How

It is quite a tedious and important task to give a proper name to your film, especially if you are a B-Town director. Aanand L Rai is one of the most well known and prominent directors of the tinsel town. The filmmakers have many hit films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Zero, Tanu Weds Manu and many others. Thus, actors love working with him.

However, the filmmaker in a recent interview with a leading publication revealed how he had to gain directorial rights from Salman Khan’s production house for his upcoming Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush starrer. The film s title was already owned by Salman Khan’s production house and Salman Khan had instructed his managers that he would allow Aanand L Rai the title of the film, only if he directs the film.

The filmmaker revealed how it was easy for him to gain the title of another movie but, he had to take Salman Khan’s help for the film and the bond between the two is quite visible. The superstar granted the directorial rights with a ‘quirky twist’ and we can’t deny that.

Thus, the director agreed to Salman Khan’s condition and decided to direct the film. The film is all set to release on a digital platform and it stars Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead roles.

Also, Salman Khan’s current ZEE5 film, Antim: The Final Truth is making it big at the BO. And it has already completed a successful week one. The film has gained a significant amount of likes and appreciation from audiences and critics alike.
