Sembaruthi 20 July 2021 Written Update: Parvathy manages to impress Akhila

In the previous episode of Sembaruthi, Purushothaman welcomes all guests to the competition. Singaravelan learns about Kanmani’s treachery while Kanmani assures Vanaja that she will help her win the competition. Vanaja, Aishwarya, and Parvathy seek Akhila’s blessings before participating in the competition. Rasathi is concerned that Parvathy is finding it difficult to answer the English questions and requests Akhila to translate them into Tamil.

In the next episode of Sembaruthi, Singaravelan discovers Kanmani’s treachery to help Vanaja. Kanmani is threatened to give incorrect answers. When Vanaja answers the question, the people present laugh. Purushothaman tells Adithya to translate the questions into Tamil so that Parvathy can answer them. As Akhila watches with admiration as Parvathy answers with perfect precision, she is impressed. Although Daniel cannot understand the language, he realizes that Parvathy is right.

Akhila disqualifies Vanaja for giving a wrong answer once again, which irks her. She reprimands Vanaja and asks her to leave. Vanaja, upset with everything, learns of Singarvelan’s deed and ridicules him. Parvathy remembers an elderly person and his words and answers the question correctly once again. When Parvathy answers correctly, Purushothaman feels a sense of pride. Daniel sets a test for Aishwarya, which she fails, whereas Parvathy succeeds. While Rasathi and Iniyan are happy for Parvathy, Ganga and Vanaja are unhappy.

Parvathy surprises Akhila by explaining the reason for APJ Abdul Kalam’s award to her. She answers all the questions with great efficiency. Akhila is delighted with Aishwarya’s answers but is impressed by Parvathy’s keen observations. Daniel once again sets a strategy test that Parvathy wins. Daniel announces Parvathy and Aishwarya’s marks, while Adithya translates the former’s statements. Vanaja mumbles as Akhila thanks Daniel on behalf of everyone. Parvathy is overwhelmed when Akhila praises her for her observations and explanations at the competition.

Later, Akhila announces her decision of holding an election between Parvathy and Aishwarya and entrusts Iniyan and Rasathi with the responsibility of judging the elections. She further names the people including Sundaram and Pattamma who can cast their votes for Aishwarya and Parvathy. Akhila gives a befitting reply when Ganga opposes Akhila’s decision of letting Sundaram and Pattamma cast their votes.
