She is now trying to make sure that Parvathy and Akhila do not talk to each other, or communicate with each other in any manner. Vanaja might not be able to keep creating conflicts 

If Parvathy manages to talk to Akhilandeswari, they will clear out all the confusions that they have. Once they start communicating well, it will be difficult for her to create misunderstandings between them. Soon Parvathy and Akhila will become really close and she can harm none of them.

Vanaja hates that Parvathy came from the lower-middle class

Vanaja wants to make sure that she can always create problems for Akhila and Parvathy, but she also does not like the fact that Parvathy made her way up from a humble background. She never leaves a chance to remind Akhila that Parvathy doesn’t fit in their social circle. She would love nothing more than to get rid of Parvathy, which is why she makes sure that Akhila is never close to Parvathy.

Vanaja hates that Parvathy is gaining control of the house 

Vanaja has been there way before Parvathy and has spent decades trying to get power and control in that house. However, she has always been failing and, hates that Parvathy just swooped in and took the place that she wanted. If Parvathy and Akhila were to communicate, it is possible that she would give Parvathy a lot more power than she already has.
