Shahid Kapoor Gets Bashed For Choosing Kabir Singh Over Jab We Met; Fans Say, ‘Aditya Will Kill Kabir With Kindness’

Monday started with a surprise for Shahid Kapoor fans as the actors did a ‘Q&A’ on Twitter and left everyone excited. Between the buzz about his next film Jersey, Shahid engaged with fans on social media where someone asked him to pick between two of his superhit films- Kabir Singh and Jab We Met as these two blockbuster films. These films have an excellent fan base and receive lots of love from fans but do you know what did Shahid Kapoor pick between these two films.
During his Q&A, when a fan asked SK, ‘jwm or Kabir Singh? Choose one.” Shahid replied saying,’ Kabir.’ For the unversed, Shahid’s film Kabir Singh with Kiara Advani was a superhit of 2019. On the other hand, Jab We Met was with Kareena Kapoor Khan which was also a super hit. But as soon as he chose ‘Kabir’ over ‘Aditya’ fans of Jab We Met’s Aditya were furious and heartbroken while ‘Kabir’s fans praised Shahid Kapoor for his choice.
Fans asked with a broken heart ‘why Aditya?’ while another said ‘Aditya no Aditya. you as Aditya is forever loved and unique.” Another fan claimed that, ‘Jab We Met’ is a hundred times better than ‘Kabir Singh’ other fan pointed out how ‘Kabir Singh’ was just glorifying toxic relationships but also agreed that this movie is a milestone in Shahid’s career and so understandably he chooses it over ‘Jab We Met’. Jab We Met was more likely Kareena’s movie while Shahid owned ‘Kabir Sing’.
Another Fan compared the two and said ‘Kabir Singh’ was five times bigger hit than ‘Jab We Met’ and also added that the acting level in ‘Kabir Singh’ was way better and much difficult than ‘JWM.’ Defending the start he also added Kabir’s character was way more impactful and thought the character is bad but he nailed it.
During the questionnaire session, Shahid also was questioned about his excitement on theaters reopening and upcoming release Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The actor showed his excitement for seeing the same in his response.
Shahid’s upcoming film ‘Jersey’ got a new release date after the decision to re-open theaters in Maharashtra was announced. It is set to release in theaters of Maharashtra on December 31, 2021
