Sumeet Raghavan Wages Twitter War With Writer Shefali Vaidya To Defend Wife, Chinmayi Sumit; Here’s How It All Started

The Aryan Khan and Sameer Wankhede controversy has given rise to a blame game. A lot of accusations were being thrown around in the Hindi as well as the Marathi movie industry. A lot of insinuations were thrown at NCB Zonal officer Sameer Wankhede. His wife Kranti Redkar, became the shield for her husband, as she tried to answer the allegations that came his way. The stars of the Marathi movie industry had kept silent as to the Aryan drug case. But recently, a social media war broke out between the Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actor Sumeet Raghavan and Marathi author Shefali Vaidya. Keep reading to know what the war was all about.

Ever since NCB officer Sameer’s wife Kranti Redkar came out on the battlefield to defend her husband, Sameer Wankhede, she has been facing a lot of abusive comments from social media trolls. Not many of the Marathi industry stars showed any support to Kranti. Meanwhile, Chinmayi Sumit, Sumeet Raghavan’s wife, made a Facebook post, to which writer Shefali Vaidya slammed Chinmayi for not showing her support to Kranti Redkar.

She questioned her by asking that Kranti is a Marathi, showbiz woman, so why did Chinmayi, a fellow Marathi actress, refuse to show some support to Kranti. This interpretation of Chinmayi’s post by Shefali aroused anger among the crowd for Chinmayi’s lack of support for Kranti. Chinmayi started getting many abusive comments on her social media posts by trolls who slammed her for not supporting Redkar.

Sumeet Raghavan, Chinmayi’s husband took to Twitter to show support to his wife. He openly tagged Shefali Vaidya in a post on Twitter, saying that his wife has had to face a lot of abuse on the internet, just because Shefali misinterpreted Chinmayi’s post and slashed her for it. He told Shefali that supporting Kranti or not is a matter of personal choice. She said that even if Shefali feels compassion for Kranti, she has no right to inflict her choices on anyone. He compared her to the trolls who slammed Kranti in the first place.

To this, Shefali responded that she got to know about Chinmayi’s father’s recent death, after having misinterpreted her post and that she was sorry to do so. Shefali said that she will delete her tweet to end her side of the argument. This Twitter war between the two influential people of the entertainment industry is all the rage on the Internet.
