The shooting of the much awaited upcoming project Liger starring the national heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is going on in full swing. The cast of the film is working with full dedication for this much anticipated pan-Indian project and an example is that Deverakonda is working on dubbing the film in Hindi on his own.

The Telugu superstar has admitted that he had hired a Hindi tutor to get a better hold on the language. The actor said that he is well acquainted with Hindi but wanted to brush it up as he was not fluent at it.

The film is now nearing its completion and is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The crew of the film also stars the international boxing legend Mike Tyson, who will be making his Indian film debut. The film will also star numerous foreign fighters and was shot in Mumbai for most of its part.

As per recent reports the crew of the film will travel to the United States for its next leg of shoot, with Vijay Deverakonda and a few foreign fighters. It is in this shooting schedule that Tyson will join the crew and it has also been reported that Deverakonda will be sharing some important scenes with him in the film.

This film is one of the most anticipated projects as it is being bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh under the banner of Puri connects, in association with Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. Johar is known for grand and large scale projects in addition to this the cast of the film that has Mike Tyson and Vijay Deverakonda, has left the fans excited for its release even before its completion.

The cinematography of the film is done by Vishnu Sharma and the stunt direction is done by Kecha from Thailand. The other cast members of the film include Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy and the pan-Indian project will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Liger will be reportedly released in the first half of 2022.
