Throwback Thursday: Take a look back at when Kamli Ishq Di’s Deshveer had to choose duty over dreams

Kamli Ishq Di is running on a thrilling note. Currently, Deshveer (Jashn Kohli) and Mahi (Shehnaz Saher) have put their life at stake to protect the country from a secret spy unit. Deshveer always dreams about dying for his country. However, there was a time when Deshveer had to give up his dreams for duty. Let’s revisit this moment this #ThrowbackThursday.

Lucky leaves Deshveer helpless

Preeto steals some jewellery from Lalli’s (Kavita Sharma) locker. She gives the jewellery to Lucky and asks him to keep it as security against the money she borrows. After a shocking revelation, it is revealed that the jewellery actually belongs to Deshveer’s deceased mother, and Lalli kept it hidden from everyone.

When Deshveer finds out, he approaches Lucky to get his mother’s jewellery back, but the arrogant guy asks him to pay for it. Deshveer tries to search for suitable jobs, but he fails to secure any work. Lucky and Sundi spread rumours about Deshveer, thus he remains jobless for some time. Deshveer manages to open a garage outside his uncle’s Dhaba. And one fine day, Lucky arrives there to spoil his day.

Lucky mocks Deshveer with Sundi and tells him to accept his offer of being his bodyguard. Well, Lucky wants to teach a lesson to Deshveer, as the latter supports Mahi, and the girl insults Lucky in every possible manner. Lucky leaves him with no choice. So, Deshveer decides to give up on his dream of serving the country to get back his mother’s belongings.

Deshveer takes the vow of getting abused

After Deshveer takes his call, he heads to Lucky’s house. The arrogant brat ridicules Deshveer, and his sidekick Sundi orders Deshveer to take an oath of loyalty.

A furious Deshveer controls his anger and swears to be loyal to Lucky. Lucky and Sundi laugh at Deshveer’s situation and the poor guy kills his dreams for his mother’s memories!
