Tisca Chopra To Start Her Debut Feature Film Directorial By The End Of 2021

Lately, many actors have turned producers and directors in the industry. Another celebrity venturing into this area is actress Tisca Chopra. Known for her roles in films like Taare Zameen Par and Qissa, Tisca Chopra is a celebrated actress in the industry. She also ventured into production and writing with the 2016 short film, Chutney. After marking her directorial debut with the 2020 short film, Rubaru, Tisca is now all set to direct her first feature film.

According to sources, Tisca Chopra will be donning the director’s hat for a big Bollywood film, although not much has been revealed about the film yet. In fact, an official announcement from Chopra’s end is also pending. However, speculations around the film are that it might have an impressive star cast and might also see Tisca playing a significant role.

Tisca has taken up various roles in her life. Sometimes, she’s a show host, an actress, a producer, a director or even an author. Commenting on the switch, Tisca said, “It may be because I get bored easily, or maybe the fact that I do get diverse ideas about many things that require different platforms. However, I enjoy the fact that I am able to flip from one thing to something totally different.”

Talking about her upcoming debut directing a feature film, Tisca stated, “I enjoyed directing Rubaru, and now I am looking very much forward to directing my first feature film directorial by year-end.” Meanwhile, on the acting front, Tisca has ‘Penthouse’, ‘Secret’, ‘Screwdriver’, ‘Kakasparsh’ and ‘Rashna: The Ray of Light’ in her pipeline.
