Yesterday, news of Vikram Bhatt’s secret marriage made headlines and it took the web by storm. It was filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who busted his secret and revealed that he tied the knot last year in September, amid the lockdown. However, the Sadak 2 director had warned him to not keep his marriage hidden for too long as it’s the time of invasive media. When a leading publication got in touch with the filmmaker and asked him about his meeting with Shweta, Vikram revealed that they met through a common friend. Not many know, Shweta is an art curator and has an art gallery of her own. There was supposed to be an exhibition where he was asked to write some poetry and she was there. But soon things changed when a common friend introduced them and one thing led to another. However later, they found themselves in a relationship.

When asked about who said those 3 magical words first, Vikram told the publication that they drifted into a companionship where words were not necessary. He further revealed that he doesn’t remember who said ‘I love you’ first. Admitting it, Bhatt said, “It felt more like something that had happened together.”
During the same interview, Vikram Bhatt also spilt the beans on daughter Krishna Bhatt’s reaction to his 2nd marriage. He said that Krishna is now old enough to understand relationships and he didn’t have to her girl as she knew her dad has a private life too. Not only that, but he also reacted to keeping the marriage hidden for a year. The filmmaker revealed that he didn’t marry for social confirmation but personal gratification. However, his brother Mahesh Bhatt knew it all.
