Earning an award for their performances is a big deal for every actor. While it comes as a prestigious pay for their ultimate dedication, these awards also make them recall their inspiring journey. In a similar instance, Majha Hoshil Na fame actor Gautami Deshpande penned down an emotional note after her big win at the Zee Marathi Awards 2020-21. She took to her Instagram handle to share her inspiring story, thanking all her loved ones.
Sharing a series of pictures, Gautami began with how 11 years ago she was a part of the audience during Zee Marathi Awards. While 11 years ago she prayed for her sister’s (Mrunmayee Deshpande) win, the ZMA 2020-21 reversed the situation. She wrote “I tried to write this so many times with good artistic words, but I am short of words today. Best serial, Best Kutumb, best jodi, best actress, best character role, best bhavanda, best sasre. I remember exactly 11 years back I was sitting there in the audience of Zee Marathi awards and I was Praying hard for Tai to get the best actress award. The situation was reversed this year….”

Sai from Majha Hoshil Na has become a household name and Gautami has stepped perfectly into the shoes of this character. Thanking director Anket Sane and the team of the show, the actor further added, “I want to thank @zeemarathiofficial for giving this opportunity to play such an awesome role “Sai”

Gautami also thanked her co-actors for being a supportive and inspiring cast. She started off by admiring her on-screen parents and her best buddy on set as she wrote, “Thanks my dadu and mumma and Naina for being my real parents and best friend on set.. @atulkale25 @sulekhatalwalkar_official @mugdhappy”
Furthermore, Gautami added how she learned a lot about performing through the veteran stars playing Brahmes and from her on-screen beau Virajas Kulkarni aka Aditya. She added in her note saying, “And thanks to my family….Bramhe…@virajas13_official @tawades @bappajoshi27 @vinayyedrkar @nikhilratnaparkhi12 @_seemadeshmukh @dhiraj_kamble2372 You guys are awesome. I am learning so much from u guys. We are gonna continue to enjoy our scenes like we always do…Love and respect to you…”
She also thanked actors Aashay Kulkarni and Sanika Gadgil as she reminisced the fun time she spent with them on the sets. Concluding her heartwarming post, Gautami went on to thank her family for their “constant support”.
