Brahmotsavam movie is a Telugu movie featuring a young man, Ajay (played by Mahesh Babu ) who develops feelings for a young NRI girl from London (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu). The girl's parents, however, pressurise her to marry a tycoon. The story takes many detours before the couple is finally reunited.

Brahmotsavam Plot

Brahmotsavam, a comedy movie, starts with Chantibabu, a successful paint business owner who is well-liked in his family and the community. He resides in Vijayawada with his family, Mahalakshmi, his wife, and his son, Ajay who is an amiable bachelor who manages his father's company. His daughter and her husband reside in London. Together with Chantibabu, Mahalakshmi's four brothers and sister work for the company. Even though their families live in different homes, they meet on special occasions.

The elder stepbrother of Mahalakshmi, Peddabbai, is jealous of Chantibabu's success when his father provides him with $400 for his business venture. Peddabbai is seen avoiding interactions with the crowd and the festivities. To ease his suffering, his wife Rajyalakshmi advises that their daughter to marry Ajay. Peddabbai is still worried on how to tell his brother-in-law, when Chantibabu learns about his plans he directly goes to talk to Ajay.

Later Chantibabu’s friend drops his daughter off at their house, who has recently returned from London. Ajay and the girl fall in love, but they have different views on staying at home because the girl prefers to live more independently and wants to experience more of life. When the family takes a trip to Ooty, she confides her feelings for Ajay, and the two decide to part ways. The two kiss and then part ways. Sadly, later Chantibabu passed away.

The movie ends on a happy note, when Ajay's love interest, who lives in London, surprises the family by visiting them. Ajay makes a successful attempt to mend his relationship with her and Pranitha also confesses her love for the minister's son. The couples are eventually able to reconcile and move forward with their relationship.
