Thakumaa convinces Chandra to perform the ritual for Rani’s sake. Harekrishna’s family and the villagers arrive at the wedding venue. Rani is adamant to not get married without Lord Raghubir beside her and is scolded by Harekrishna and Khemi. Rani is sad, while Chandra feels disturbed. Anandamoyee tries to comfort Chandra’s troubled heart by suggesting changes in his room for Rani. Didimaa warns Anandamoyee to maintain a distance from Chandra now that he is getting married.
