‘Tattoo Anindya’…!
Sudipa started the conversation by asking Anindya if he knows what people call him behind his back and the actor revealed it was ‘Tattoo Anindya’. Taking the opportunity, Sandipta jokingly said she and Ishaa had found the reason behind his numerous tattoos, which was to cover the burns he had sustained from cooking during his childhood. Anindya just laughed about it and said that his friends were big-time liars. Sudipa also praised him for his environment-friendly and inspiring posts on Instagram.
Eat your protein
Due to the spread of the Coronavirus, everyone is encouraged to include more protein in their diet. Sandipta, Ishaa, and Anindya are also following this healthy tip. Sandipta said that she has been on a diet for 15 days and her diet includes only fish and meat. Hence, she has been taking her share of protein quite nicely. Anindya and Ishaa both said that they are foodies and in order to remain in shape, they often visit the gym and compensate for the intake of their favourite dishes.
Sudipa’s tips and tricks
The episode was not just full of fun moments but also full of helpful tips and tricks from Sudipa, which we can use in our day-to-day cooking. It is a known fact that most of the famous mutton dishes of Bengal have a dark coloured gravy. Sudipa revealed that there are three ways to do so. One is by cooking the dish in an iron skillet. Or, one can put black pepper or clove paste or even a little soya sauce. Another tip from Sudipa was on how to make properly cooked mutton. She said one has to put the meat in a pressure cooker, let it whistle once, and then lower the heat and let it pressure cook for 20 minutes. These clever tricks will definitely come in handy when we try to create the magic Sudipa creates through her cooking!
The soul of Rannaghar- Shukla Di
Sudipa remembered the good old days of Rannaghar and said that in the initial days, she knew very little about cooking and it was actually Shukla Mukhopadhyay, fondly addressed as Shukla Di, who helped her grow in this journey. Shukla Mukhopadhyay used to co-host Rannaghar along with Sudipa. She thanked her for always encouraging her and helping her in times of need. Shukla Di also thanked Rannaghar’s fans and viewers for their support and love that they have showered all these years.
