Zee Bangla’s popular cookery show Rannaghar completed 15 years in Bengali television. Host Sudipa Chatterjee has been celebrating the occasion with many celebrities that include actors like Sandipta Sen, Ishaa Saha, Anindya Chatterjee, Writwik Mukherjee, Annwesha Hazra, Ipsita, Sampriti, and singers like Jojo, Arkadeep, Samadipta, Anushka, Niharika, Sampriti, Emon Chatterjee, and Aneek. Well-known singer, Aneek Dhar joined Sudipa in one of the episodes, and some soulful songs and fun conversations followed.

Fans love Aneek!
During the episode, Aneek expressed how making people happy with his music always feels like a pleasure, and any appreciation coming from the fans motivates him to do better. Sudipa also said that when Aneek sang the song Main Agar Kahoon in front of Shah Rukh Khan, all Bengalis felt extremely proud thinking that Aneek belongs to the Bengali community.
Aneek learns to cook for his wife
During the conversation, we got to know that Aneek is a good cook and likes to spend time in the kitchen and serve happiness to his loved ones. He helped Sudipa in making Chital Macher Muithya, following the steps. Sudipa said that he should learn the dish here and then make it for his wife at home, but Aneek jokingly said his wife can watch the process here and learn so that she can prepare the dish for him next time. Given the dedication that he learned the recipe with, it does look like his wife is in for a treat!

The story behind Coffee Houser Sei Adda ta
In this episode, Sudipa revealed the original story behind the famous song, Coffee Houser Sei Adda Ta Aaj Ar Nei. Around 1983, famous lyricist Gauriprasanna Majumdar wanted to make a song with Manna Dey. One evening, he told Suparnakanti Ghosh to compose a song that can be sung by Manna Dey and Suparnakanti Ghosh in return asked him to write a song on Kolkata’s iconic Coffee house. Both the gifted artists together created the masterpiece Coffee Houser Sei Adda Ta and the song was sung by Manna Dey.
In this episode of Rannaghar, we heard many beautiful melodies and learned an extremely delicious and innovative recipe. Sudipa taught us how to make Chitol Muithya Biryani and Aneek’s songs made the episode even more enjoyable.
