83: Ranveer Singh Gives A Glimpse Of Madipa’s Revenge Addressed By Kapil Dev; Shares A Post On His IG – WATCH

Since the release of the trailer for the much-anticipated film 83, it has received a lot of attention and appreciation. The film will be directed by Kabir Khan and will star Ranveer Singh in the role of Kapil Dev. It will be based around the 1983 World Cup. Deepika Padukone will also be a part of the film, as Romi Bhatia, Kapil Dev’s real-life wife. Apart from these two, the film has Panjak Tripathi, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and others in an ensemble cast.

Ranveer Singh recently released a video on his Instagram account that featured a comparison of a fictional and real-life scenario, as addressed by Kapil Dev himself in a press conference about the character and bowler Madipa. Harrdy Sandhu will portray the part of Madipa in the film.

As the video begins, Kapil Dev is discussing the 1983 World Cup when Madipa approaches him and asks him to bowl the next over. Come after the next two overs, Kapil says, because he permitted two fours in the previous over. Madipa, on the other hand, pleaded with him, saying that the West Indian player thinks less of him and that he wants to show him what he can do. The video is pretty dramatic since it consumes us in that time, and it’s almost like a climactic sequence for people who haven’t seen the match. We don’t know if Kapil permitted Madipa to bowl the next over or not because the video ends on a cliffhanger.

“The inside narrative of Madipa’s revenge,” Ranveer captioned the video when he shared it. He also stated that the movie will be released in 3D on December 24th in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
