Tigers

Another true story is documented around pharmaceutical scams. Revolving around a Nestle Pakistan salesman Ayan, the movie is a story of an underdog struggling to expose the wrongdoings of a brand. Ayan lives a normal-yet-struggling life making his ends meet by selling baby milk products. However, his life turns topsy-turvy when he realizes the side effects of the products he is selling. He decides to fight against the same.

The film is based on a real story and hence won’t give you a heroic end. Featuring Emraan Hashmi in the lead, Tigers is a must-watch.

Dev DD 2

The complications of modern-age romance are at the heart of Dev DD 2. The love life of Devika and her fights against societal stereotypes is the soul of this show. However, the show also highlights various relevant problems including female foeticide and homophobia. The story has a much-needed take on queer love and marriages.

Also, it captures the obsession of preferring a male child over a female. Dev DD 2 not just essays these plot points but also has a refreshing take on these long due problems.
