In Aggabai Sunbai, Shubhra’s life has taken a drastic turn ever since she has discovered of her husband’s affair. The poor girl has already gone through so much in life, she really did not need one more problem. That too, of this nature. However, life had other plans for her as she not only got cheated on, but she also never got the apology she deserved. All she got was more humiliation, suffering and bad luck. However, no matter how tough life got, Shubhra faced it with courage and we are incredibly proud of her.

Here’s a gist of how life has been unfair to Shubhra so far. She was once a charming and confident girl, winning hearts wherever she went. Her life took a very tragic turn when in one moment, she lost both her parents in an accident. The accident affected her so deeply, that she never fully recovered.

To make things worse, she was pregnant with Shubham when she received the worst news of her life. The trauma induced early labour, and she had to give birth to Shubham when she was just seven months along. The premature baby was weak, and Shubhra spent days and nights nursing him back to health.

In between grieving over her parents’ death and taking care of her baby, she totally lost herself. She no longer was the same bubbly Shubhra anymore. She became weak, anxious and afraid of everything, especially losing someone she loved. Soham thought his wife has lost her charm, and his interest sparked in someone else.

Soham then got into an illicit relationship with Suzanne. When Shubhra found out, she was so shattered that she attempted suicide. But suddenly, when she was about to end her life, Anurag came and saved her. He gave her hope to continue living and promised her things will get better.

Now Shubhra has decided to regain her lost confidence by becoming independent again. She is slowly but steadily becoming her old self, and we find it quite inspiring. She has already started a business and she does not listen to Soham’s whims anymore. No matter how much Soham and Suzanne try to make her life harder, she does not give up. In the face of tragedy and despair, she has shown courage and strength. This is why her story is the perfect example of the phrase “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.

Shubhra still has a long way to go, and she might face more hurdles but we know she will deal with them boldly. She is truly inspiring and we cannot wait to find out what she has in store for us ahead!
