Rajinikanth and Nayanthara will play the lead roles in the Tamil film ‘Annaatthe.’ The film, directed by Siva, now title has been Peddanna. Narayandas Narang and Suresh Babu have secured the Telugu dubbing rights for this film. They paid a premium for the rights in the face of stiff competition.
The makers of Tamil stalwart actor Rajinikanth’s highly-anticipated action family entertainer Annaatthe have just confirmed that the film’s Telugu remake has been dubbed Peddanna, confirming current rumours. Asian Cinemas, a leading distribution and production company, has paid a significant sum for the theatrical rights to Peddanna.
On the occasion of Ayudha Puja, Annaatthe’s teaser was published in the evening. Fans were treated to an out-and-out mass treat in the teaser, which boosted the anticipation for the film. The film’s director, Siva, did an excellent job of enhancing Rajini’s distinctive flair and courage. The trailer is going popular on social media, with over 4 million views on YouTube thus far.
Annaatthe is produced by Sun Pictures and stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Meena, Khushboo, and others in lead parts. The soundtrack was composed by D Imman. The film will be released in theatres globally on November 4 as a Diwali gift.
A censor certificate has also been issued for the picture. The film’s producers have now obtained a certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) allowing it to be screened in theatres. The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) of India awarded it a U/A certificate. On November 4, 2021, it will be released worldwide. It went on the floors in December 2019 and finished filming in August 2021.

According to a Hindustan Times source, Superstar Rajinikanth signed the deal for this film for Rs 108 crores, but Sun TV’s Kalanithi Maran persuaded him to drop his compensation in half after his last two films’ box office disappointments, and Rajini eventually signed the deal for Rs 58 crores. The film is expected to have a budget of 100-110 crores, yet the producers haven’t said anything about it.
Filming began on December 11, 2019, and ended in August 2021. According to reports, D. Imam composed five songs for the film. On October 4, 2021, the film’s first single was released. S.P Balasubhramanyam, the great vocalist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, has provided the voice.
