Asif Basra passed away on November 12 by suicide. The 53-year-old was found dead in his house in McLeodganj. The actor is known for his roles in Black Friday, Jab We Met, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Parzania, Kai Po Che and many other films. Many Bollywood actors took to their social media after hearing about the sad demise of the actor. Here are some of the B’wood celebrities who paid their tribute to Asif.

Swara Bhaskar took to her official Twitter handle and retweeted ANI’s tweet about the actor’s demise. She mentioned that it was disheartening to know that more than one artist is going through such mental stress where they have opted to commit suicide. Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he couldn’t believe this happened and called Asif a dear friend. He mentioned that Asif had a full of life personality and was extremely talented. He wrote,” More power to family”
