Black Widows Ending: Does Parambrata Chattopadhyay As Inspector Pankaj Finally Close The Case? Find Out

ZEE5 original series Black Widows has already created a lot of buzz amongst the audience. The critics have appreciated the actors for their performance and the writer for the suspense thriller plotline. Parambrata Chattopadhyay plays the role of inspector Pankaj Mishra. Read further to know if Pankaj reaches the end of the journey and finally closes the case.

Does Parambrata Chattopadhyay as Pankaj Mishra solve the case in Black Widows?

Black Widows is adapted from the Finnish show Mustat Lesket. The show features Mona Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Shamita Shetty and Swastika Mukherjee in the lead role. It also features actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay playing the role of Inspector Pankaj Mishra who is assisted by Shruti Vyas playing his assistant Rinku ji. Pankaj Mishra is a 40-year-old police inspector who is lonely and is finding for someone to get married. Meanwhile, he is caught up in a case of the boat bomb blast. Pankaj loves taking up challenges and he informs his subordinate that he will surely solve the case as soon as possible.

The three wives, Jayati, Veera and Kavita played by Swastika, Mona Singh and Shamita Shetty plan their husbands’ murder. Pankaj and Rinku ji start investigating the case to find the lead suspect of the case. Pankaj as a police officer is often seen investigating the case in weird ways. In one of the scenes, he figures out that the mutton was poisoned at the lakehouse as they bought only half kg for 6 people. In another instance, to find out who the killer is, he checks out butts of all the suspects in the show.

Pankaj is seduced by Swastika aka Jayati in Black Widows. She plays a lonely wife who loves staying alone but deep within is in search of a partner. Pankaj is often caught up in weird situations with Jayati and almost proves that she is the killer. However, Jayati tricks him into believing that Inaaya is the killer and distracts him with her seduction. In the end, the story takes a major twist which we did not see coming. Pankaj is very close to solving the intriguing case when Jatin plays a major role in bringing the twist. Will Pankaj be able to solve the case or will he let Jayati, Veera and Kavita go free because of Jayati.

While the makers haven’t opted for the usual route and have preferred having an open ending, we think he ultimately solves the case. While Sharad Kelkar is determined to kill Veera for obvious reasons, we think he has a change of heart in the end and is probably willing to forgive her. This explains why he doesn’t kill her. While the show ended on an open note, we’d like to think the case was solved by the officer, though he didn’t make any arrests.
