Mumbai court remanded former employee of Dharma Productions, Kshitij Prasad in custody to the Narcotics Control Bureau till October 3.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is tightening its grip on Kshitij Prasad. Directors associated with Dharma Productions in the drugs case will now remain in the custody of the investigation agency till October 3. While Prasad complained to the magistrate of NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, he accused him of third-degree torture during detention. According to Satish Maneshinde, lawyer of Rhea Chakraborty, NCB has pressurized Prasad to give a statement against Karan Johar in questioning. Prasad alleges that the NCB lured him by saying that he would be released if he implicated other names as well.

The other names include that of Karan Johar, Somal Mishra, Rakhi, Apoorva, Neeraj or Rahil in a false drug case. A Mumbai court on Sunday (September 28) remanded former employee of Dharma Productions, Kshitij Prasad in custody to the NCB till October 3. Amidst news of his arrest, reports doing the rounds claim that the NCB allegedly forced Kshitij Prasad to falsely implicate Karan Johar and other top personalities of Dharma Productions.
