Hebbuli is an action film with a star cast including  Sudeep, V Ravichandran and the very beautiful Amala Paul. The story begins with Captain Ram rescuing three doctors, including Dr Nandini, who later falls in love with him. One night, Ram receives a letter, stating that his brother IAS officer Sathyamurthy, is dead.  After Ram’s brother’s death, he decides to investigate the reason behind his death. However, he must fight against the corrupt system, to protect his family and find out the truth.

While Sudeep’s performance is undoubtedly the best, the character that he plays and the problems that he faces as Captain Ram will strike a chord with every viewer as it tackles the problems that are faced in the country. From the issue of suicide to corruption. However, what makes this movie a must-watch is the fact that the movie also shows the beautiful side of our country especially states like Kashmir that has not been given enough importance in reality. Throughout the film, we come to a realisation as to how much corruption there is and how important it is for the truth to come out whatever it may be.
