Shabana who gained prominence after her portrayal as Parvathy in Zee Tamil’s Sembaruthi started her career as a dancer. She debuted in television with a Malayalam serial and later on went on to feature in various Malayalam and Tamil shows.

Shabana, who was born and brought up in Mumbai, has a special connection with Kerala. She is an ardent fan of Kerala’s famous Sharjah shake. Interestingly, she has a unique recipe of the shake, which she shared with her fans a few weeks ago.

Sembaruthi, starring Shabana, Karthik Raj, and Priya Raman in the lead, narrates a heart-wrenching tale of a wealthy woman who disowns her son after he marries her house help. The show premiered in 2017 and has been rocking the TRP charts since its inception. Sembaruthi recently aired its 800th episode.

Shabana, who essays the role of Parvathy, the house help, has a massive fan following among audience of all age group.
