Deepika Padukone’s birthday party at her Mumbai residence was attended by her upcoming movie’s co-stars, Ananya, Siddhant, filmmaker Karan Johar and others. Here’s how the star celebrated her big day.
One of Bollywood’s most celebrated stars Deepika Padukone turned 35 on January 5 and fans and celebrities from all across the globe penned down sweet notes for the actor. Deepika Padukone has managed to carve a niche for herself in the industry. Ever since her first big hit, Om Shaanti Om, there was no looking back for her. While Deepika had invited a very few of her close friends for her birthday party this year, she did not fail to invite her upcoming movie’s co-stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

Ananya Panday made a scintillating entry at Deepika’s birthday party with filmmaker Karan Johar. Ananya got her first break in the industry with Karan’s movie, Student of the Year 2. Ever since then, the 22-year-old is often spotted with the filmmaker at various events and occasions. Ananya looked gorgeous in an off-shoulder white jumpsuit. She ditched accessories and opted for minimal makeup. Ananya held Karan’s hand, who opted for a maroon jacket with embellishments on it, and walked with him. Just after them, Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini Dhawan arrived at the party. She looked stunning in a white crop-top and she teamed her attire with a pair of loose pants. At first, she looked shy, but later, she smiled for the paps and also thanked them. The occasion seemed incomplete without Deepika’s upcoming movie’s director, Shakun Batra, who was seen in a casual tee and jacket. Deepika is working with Shakun in his movie and the entire team has already shot a schedule in Goa.
Speaking about her upcoming movie, Deepika told a daily that the overall tonality of her outing is slightly lighter than her last film, in terms of inner, emotional turmoil that her character goes through. More so, she added that the overall genre of the film is something that the audience has not seen much in Indian cinema. She went to call it a domestic noir. Apart from this, she will be seen alongside her husband Ranveer in the sports-drama, 83, helmed by Kabir Khan. Ranveer looked like the happiest on his “Jaan” and “Gudiya”, Deepika’s Padukone’s birthday. He accompanied her while she celebrated her special day with the media.
